Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A religious service was held at 10 a.m. today at Golden Meadow United Methodist Church for Elmo J. Pitre, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, who died at 2:11 a.m. Jan. 9, 1999.  Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  He was the husband of Emma Collins Pitre; father of Elmo Pitre Jr. and Dale P. Angelette; and brother of Linton B. Pitre.  He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Angela Williams Pitre, and one granddaughter, Margaret Angelette.  He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Lafourche Lodge #427 F & AM, Bayou Fellowship Lodge #484 F & AM, New Orleans Scottish Rite Consistory, Lafourche Shrine Club of Jerusalem Temple, Order of Eastern Star #251 and the American Legion.  Samart Funeral Home of Cut Off was in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Emma Collins Pitre, 78, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Lockport, died Friday, March 14, 2003.  Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off.  Religious services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.  She is survived by one son, Elmo Pitre Jr.; one daughter, Dale Angelette; one brother, Rolley J. Collins; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Joseph Pitre Sr.: her parents, Theodore and Andrewa Crosby Collins; two brothers, Theodore Collins Jr. and Robert "Bobby" Collins Sr.; and one sister, Lucia Collins Oliver.

Adela Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Adela "Dale" Pitre Angelette, 67, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died at 9:44 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at United Methodist in Golden Meadow.  Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  She is survived by her husband, Daniel Angelette Sr.; son, Danny Angelette and wife, Rhonda; brother, Elmo Pitre Jr.; granddaughter, Emma Margaret Angelette; three step-grandchildren, Brant, Tyler, and Randy Wells.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Pitre Sr. and Emma Collins Pitre; and daughter, Margaret Scott Angelette.  She was a member of the United Methodist of Golden Meadow and a member of Red Hat Society.  She loved Mardi Gras.  In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society in the name of Dale Angelette.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
