Yvette Marie Pitre:  The Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, ONT), Tuesday, 16 February 1999:  Snyder, Yvette, At the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall, on Sunday, February 14, 1999.  The former Yvette Marie Pitre of 1114 Cumberland, Street, Cornwall, age 82 years.  Beloved wife of the late Lawrence (Larry) Snyder.  Dear mother of Ronald Snyder (husband of Sue Burke), Bernice (Mrs. Bob Kilger), Barbara Snyder, Gerald Snyder (husband of Anna Maria DiCola) and Brian Snyder (husband of Pam McKenzie), all of Cornwall.  Loving grandmother of Tim, Jason, Ryan, Chad, Sherri, Shana, Zakary and McKenzie and great-grandmother of Sarah and Tyler.  Dear daughter of the late Eusebe Pitre and the late Rachel Dore.  Dear sister of Charles Pitre, Emile Pitre (Vivian), Georgette (Mrs. Wilfrid Lauzon) and Fleurette (Mrs. Arcade Brunet), all of Cornwall, Jean Marie Pitre (Lucille) of Ottawa and Therese Pitre of St. Catharines.  Predeceased by one brother, Jean Paul and by three sisters Antoinette, Laurette and Etiennette.  Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, from 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Funeral Wednesday, February 17, 1999, for Mass of Christian Burial at Ste. Therese de Lisieux Church, Cornwall, at 11 a.m.  Spring interment, Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.  The family will be in attendance from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of funeral on wednesday.  As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Palliative Care Unit, Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall, or to the Ontario Special Olympics, North York, Ontario, would be appreciated by the family.

Joseph Emile Pitre:  Wilson Funeral Home (Cornwall, ONT):  PITRE, Emile - WWII Veteran - Lifetime Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 297 - Mr. Emile Pitre at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the age of 97 years.  Beloved husband of the late Vivian Pitre.  Loved father of Paulette, Margot Lafrance (Gerry), Claudette and Marc.  Loved grandfather of Joanne Koradi (Jeff), Andre Lafrance (Julie) and Martin Lafrance (Lisa); and great grandfather of Justice, Hailey, Jase, Kallie and Emmerson Ray.  Dear brother of Georgette, Fleurette, Johnny and Teresa.  Loved son of the late Euseb and Rachel (Doré) Pitre.  Also predeceased by his brother Charles and sister Yvette.  Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home , 822 Pitt Street, where visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 11:30AM - 12:15PM.  The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM.  Rite of Committal at a later date Notre Dame Cemetery.  If so desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297 are requested to assemble for a tribute at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday at 7:30 PM.
