Obituary:  Houma Courier (LA), Thursday, 11 June 1981:  Clarence (Caloon) Pitre, 81, died 1 p.m. on Wednesday.  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. today at Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, resuming 8 a.m. Friday and continuing until funeral time.  The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with religious services following at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, Odette Traigle Prejeant Pitre; two step sons, Roland and Linsly Prejeant; one daughter, Mrs. Elma Pitre Champagne; one step daughter, Elsie Prejean; one sister, Mabel P. Bourg; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.  Landry Funeral Home of Thibodaux is handling arrangements.

Obituary:  Thibodaux Daily Comet (LA), 17 March 1999:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux for Odette Traigle Prejeant Pitre, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died on March 14, 1999.  Visitation will be 8 a.m. until funeral time at Landry's Funeral Home in
Thibodaux.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.  She was the mother of Roland Prejeant.  She is also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Prejeant and her second husband, Clarence Pitre; parents, Pierre and Emily Keller Traigle; son, Lindy "Tiger" Prejeant; daughter, Elsie Prejeant Prejean; brothers, Sylvester, Paul, Blaise and John Traigle; and sister, Mabel Boudreaux.  Landry's Funeral Home, Inc. of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.

Elma Marie Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Elma Marie "MeMe" Pitre Champagne, 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux who died at 6:26 p.m. Monday.  Visitation will be from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.  She was the mother of Charmaine Stevens.  She is also survived by one grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Martin and Clarence J. Pitre.  Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
