Victoria Beatrice Petre: Le Droit (Gatineau, QUE/Ottawa, ONT), 13 December 2002: Victoria Prud'Homme (nee Petry) passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, at the age of 94 years. Widow of the late Rene Prud'Homme, she is survived by her children: Jean (Ruth Murphy), Maurice (Therese Maisonneuve), Gertrude (late Gerald Lefebvre), Pauline, Andre (Nora Maisonneuve), Denis and Rene (Anne Marie Carle); 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 brother, Theodore Petry; 1 brother-in-law, Lucien Prud'Homme and several nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2002 in Ste. Elisabeth church, of Cantley, at 11 a.m. The funeral management has been entrusted to La Cooperative Funeraire de L'Outaouais. Donations to the Wakefield Hospital would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Jacques Menard for his dedication and also to the CLSC team: Mario, Julie and the others for their support and encouragement. Thank you also to the staff of the Wakefield Hospital Center for the personal and human welcome that Victoria received during her many visits. One day, dear Victoria, we will find you in the Great Eternal Family.
