Armand Pitre:  Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB): Armand Pitre 1933-2018 (photo) - Bathurst - Mr. Armand Pitre, husband of the late Agathe (Henry) Pitre, of Dunlop, passed away on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 85.  Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Alfred and Rosaline (Larouche) Pitre.  He is survived by one son, Armand Jr. (Juliette Boucher) of Beresford.  Four daughters: Rose Vienneau (Ernest) of Nigadoo, Suzanne Bertin (Francois) of Dunlop, Lisette Couture (Ivan) of Bathurst and Diane Pitre (Denis Alaire) of Joliette, Que.  Five grandchildren: Jammy, Sylvie, Tiffany, Jenny, Maina, and three great-grandchildren.  Two brothers: Rosaire Pitre (Claudette) of Vanburen, Maine, U.S., and Alfred Jr (Lauraine) of Grand Falls.  Several nieces and nephews.  He worked as a lumberjack throughout his life.  There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 18th at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Armand may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.

 

Marie Therese Pitre:  Pitre, Therese.  At Edmundston, 5 August 2003, at the age of 67 years, passed away Therese Pitre, residing at St. Leonard, N.B., daughter of the late Alfred Pitre and the late Rosaline Larouche.  She is survived by one daughter: Brenda Roy (Aime) of Oromocto, N.B.; four brothers: Alfred (Lauraine) of St. Leonard, N.B.; Robert, of Florida, USA; Armand (Agathe) of Bathurst, N.B., and Rosaire (Claudette) of Van Buren, Me.; one sister: Adelaine Corbin (Armand) of St. Leonard, N.B.  The funeral took place Friday 8 August, at 4 p.m., in St. Leonard church, and burial in the parish cemetery.  Father Ernest Dumaresq presided at the ceremonies, assisted by Father Jean-Marie Dumont.  The cards were distributed by Mrs. Constance Bourgoin and Greta Robitaille, and the collection was done by Yves Bosse.  Funeral direction was entrusted to Funeral Homes Brunswick Ltd.

 

Joseph Emilien Pitre:  (Edmundston), 30 July 2002:  Pitre, Emile.  At Borderview Manor of Van Buren, Maine, Monday, 29 July 2002, at the age of 64 years, died Emile Pitre, residing at Van Buren, Maine.  Born at St. Emile, Quebec, in 1938, he was the son of the late Alfred Pitre and the late Roseline Larouche.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Carl, two brothers, Lawrence and Paul.  He is survived by one daughter: Patty Baran (Randall) of Buffalo, NY; two sisters: Therese Pitre and Adeline (Armand) Corbin of St. Leonard; four brothers: Armand (Agathe) of Bathurst; Rosaire (Claudette) of Van Buren; Robert of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Alfred Jr. (Lorraine) of St. Leonard, as well as nephews and nieces.  He will be missed by his grandson, Derek, as well as his girlfriend, Yvonne Ayotte, Jennifer and Kristin Taylor.  The funeral will take place Friday 2 August at 11 a.m., in the church of St. Leonard.  The celebrant will be Father Lucien Levesque.  The porters will be Robert, Randy, Ricky and Ryan Pitre, Richard Lapointe and John Beaulieu.  The funeral direction was entrusted to the funeral home of Guy. L. O'Regan.
