Obituary:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Tuesday, 14 February 1984:  Bathurst - Albert Pitre, 56, died Saturday at his residence at 483 Archibald St. here.  Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Doucet) Pitre.  He was a custodian at Holy Family School for the past 13 years and was a musician in his own orchestra.  He is survived by his wife, the former Delphine Bribeau; four sons, Robert, Denis, Donald and Daniel, all at home; four brothers, Andre J., Edmond and Clifford, all of Bathurst, and Benoit, Dalhousie and one sister, Mrs. Fred Caissie (Bernadette), Bathurst.  The body is at Elhatton's Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated today at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church.  Entombment will be in the parish cemetery vault.

Obituary:  Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB):  Delphine Pitre 1935-2017 (photo) - At Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the age of 81, passed away Mrs. Delphine Pitre, wife of the late Albert Pitre and friend of the late Gerald Arseneau.  Born at Pont-Lafrance N.B., she was the daughter of the late Maturin Brideau and the late Emilie Comeau.  She is survived by four sons: Robert (Judith) of Beresford, Denis (Johanne) of Bathurst, Donald (Anne-Marie) of Calgary, Alb. and Daniel (Cynthia) of Bathurst.  Six grandchildren: Mylene, Jonathan, Eric, Victoria, Remi et Jessie.  Six sisters: Judith (Gerald Brideau), Azilda (Allard Doiron), Archange (Louis Mallet), Lea (Hector Roussel), Alfreda (Theophane Parent), Odette (Aldeo Comeau).  One brother, Camille (Sylvia).  As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Three sisters: Alice, Adrienne and Catherine predeceased her.  Family will welcome you at Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst on Monday, 6 March 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2p.m. until departure for the funeral.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 7 March 2017 at 4pm in Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Bathurst.  Your expressions of sympathy may be expressed as a donation to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to a charity of your choice.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Elhatton Funeral Home of Bathurst.
