Obituary:  Acadie Nouvelle (NB), 21 November 1994Andre Pitre of North Tetagouche died on Nov. 20, 1994 at the age of 79, husband of Eveline Boudreau, and born in Bathurst to Alexandre Pitre and Elisabeth Doucet.  Three daughters: Fernande (Andre Boudreau) of Robertville, Camilia (Marc Dumaresq) of Nigadoo, and Noella Pitre of Petit Rocher; three sons: Alcide (Norma) and Roger both of Bathurst, Alvin (Gisele) of Robertville; one sister Marie (Fred Caissie) of Bathurst; one brother Ben Pitre of Dalhousie.  Died five brothers: Jean, Edmond, Arthur, Clifford and Albert.  Fiddler.

 

Notes for Marie Eveline Boudreau:  Mrs. Andre Pitre died on December 25, 2001 at age 83, widowed in 1994, born Eveline Boudreau on June 12, 1918 of Thomas Boudreau and Georgina Comeau.  Three daughters and three sons.  Funeral at Bathurst (Rosary).

Joseph Alcide Pitre:  Elhatton’s Funeral Home:  Alcide Pitre 1941-2022:  It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Alcide Pitre which occurred at the Villa Sormany in Robertville on Friday April 22, 2022 at the age of 80.  Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Andre and Evelyne (Boudreau) Pitre.  Alcide was blessed with a large and loving family.  He and his teenage sweetheart, Norma (Cyr) Pitre enjoyed 59 years of marriage.  He was extremely proud of their five children: Pauline Pitre-Savoie (Rodrigue Savoie), Nicole Godin (Michel), Pierre Pitre (Rachel), Lisa Mallet (Marc) and Sonia Pitre (Réjean Legacy), his nine grandchildren: Danie, Marie-Claude, Maryse, Caroline, Christian, Antoni, Jean-Christophe, Chloé and Joey; and his two great-grandchildren Livia and Cédric whom he adored.  He shared his love of music and instilled respect, integrity, responsibility, and team spirit.  During the last years, he also showed them how to face their troubles with courage, humour and composure.  He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers: Fernande Boudreau (Andre), Roger Pitre, Alvin Pitre (Gisele) and Noella Pitre (Leonard Lanteigne) as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Camilla and an infant brother.  Alcide was retired from Canada Post.  He was a 4th degree member and past Grand Knight of the Holy Rosary Council #12215 Knights of Columbus.  The family would like to thank the personnel at the Villa Sormany for the excellent care given to Alcide during his stay.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 4 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Alcide may be made to Arthritis Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home.

 

Camilla Pitre:  Elhatton's Funeral Home:  Bathurst - Mrs. Camilla Dumaresq, 66, wife of Marc Dumaresq, of Beresford, passed away on Saturday March 25, 2017, at the Moncton Hospital.  Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Evelyn (Boudreau) Pitre.  Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Lise Dumaresq LeBlanc (Larry) and Luc Dumaresq (Stephanie Leger) both of Beresford and Charles Dumaresq (Yvonne) of Bathurst.  Five grandchildren: Amelie, Zoe, Isabelle, Patrick and Ellie.  Three brothers: Alcide Pitre (Norma) and Roger Pitre both of Bathurst and Alvin Pitre (Gisele) of Robertville.  Two sisters: Fernande Boudreau (Andre) of Robertville and Noella Pitre (Leonard Lanteigne) of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 4 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Camilla may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
