Joseph Jean Eugene Pitre: Fairhaven Funeral Home: John Pitre, 69 of Moncton, son of the late Adolphe and Agatha Pitre, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gloria (Saulnier); one son, Michael (Terry); one daughter, Patricia Gibb (Tom); three grandchildren, Christina, Ryan and Taylor. He is also survived by one brother; Regis, six sisters; Rose, Bernice, Leona, Sylvianne, Helen and Pauline. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one son, Dwain; four brothers; Herman, Hector, Maurice and Albert. Following cremation, a funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Basilica in Miramichi on Friday, August 27 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. Interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or New Brunswick Lung Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton. The family would like to give a special thank to Doctor's and Nurses at The Moncton Hospital.

Dear Grandma of Christine (Scott), Stephanie (Joe), Patricia (Barrett) all of Dallas, Texas, Brittney (Mike) of Ottawa and Corey (Dave) of Toronto, and Great-Grandma of Landon, Peyton and Dylan. Dear sister of Rose, Leona and Pauline (Mike), and the late Herman, Regis, John, Hector, Maurice, Albert, Bernice and Sylvianne. Predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Agatha Pitre of Miramichi, NB. Ginette Galipeau and son of the late Adolphe Pitre and Agathe Landry. He

Vicky) of New Castle, N.B., Herman (Jeannette) of Laval, John
(Gloria), Maurice, Albert (Valerie) all of Chatham, N.B.; 6 sisters:

Toronto, Leona and Sylviane of Laval, Helen (Peter Vanderburg) of

The religious service will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Monday 15 January, in the
St. Pierre de Wakefield church. He is resting at Cooperative Funeraire de
L'Outaouais, Gatineau. Visiting hours: Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.
