Isabel Adeline Lajambe: Star Phoenix (Saskatoon, SASK), Tuesday, 3 July 2001: (photo) Isabel Adeline Lynn, December 20, 1932 - June 28, 2001 - A calling from the Angels for Isabel A. Lynn (nee Lorman) occurred peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital on June 28, 2001 at the age of 68. Isabel was born to the late Albert & Dorothy Lajambe of Carrot River, SK. She is survived by Victor I. Lynn, her loving husband and companion of 14 years; her five children and their families, the extended Lynn family; and her 11 brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd G. Lorman and brother Benji. Isabel celebrated her life caring for people through her Christian faith and always kept her door opened for family and friends. Her great sense of humour always brought on laughter and her love for music was cherished and shared by many. Isabel and Victor spent their winters in Arizona where she mastered her artistry and enjoyed time with fellow friends, artists and musicians. Her summers were spent at home in Saskatoon where she enjoyed her gardening, time with family, and her love of old time music. Isabel was part of a large immediate and extended family. She was a great wife, mother, and friend to many, and though her passing has left a gap in many a one's heart, her memory will go on. The family would like to thank the caring staff at St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit and to all the well wishers along the way. The memorial service will be held July 4 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Martin's Church located at 2617 Clarence Ave. S. Arrangements are entrusted to Martin's Warmen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Benjamin Wayne Lajambe: The Winnipeg Sun (Winnipeg, MAN), Saturday, 24 April 1999: Alcohol and an unused seatbelt likely led to the death of a 45-year-old northern Manitoba man, police say. Benjamin Lajambe, 45, of the RM of Kelsey, near The Pas, was killed instantly when he was thrown from his Dodge van about 2:30 a.m. yesterday. "There are indications that he had been consuming liquor," said RCMP Sgt. Dave Mancini. Police say Lajambe lost control of the van and failed to negotiate a curve on a gravel municipal road about seven kilometres west of The Pas. An autopsy will be conducted at Health Sciences Centre.
