Obituary:  Houma Courier (LA), Monday, 20 July 1981:  Funeral services were scheduled for 9:30 a.m. today at Landry Funeral Home for Irvy A. "Pete" Pitre, 65, who died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday.  Religious services were scheduled for at 10 a.m. today at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.  He was the husband of the late Marie Doucet; father of Norma Trosclair; brother of Herly Pitre, Mrs. Sidney Roger and Mrs. Jules Mayo.

Obituary:  Times Picayune, 22 April 1966:  On Thursday, April 21, 1966, at 5:40 o'clock a.m., Marie Doucet, wife of Irvy Pitre, mother of Norma Marie Pitre; daughter of Anna Boudreaux Doucet and the late Felix Doucet, sister of Ashton, Wilber, Nelson Doucet, Mrs. Harris Leonard, Mrs. Marguerite Boudreaux, Mrs. Walter Naquin, Mrs. Edwin Boudreaux, Mrs. James Richard, Mrs. Steve Roberson, Mrs. A. J. Loupe and Mrs. Jerry Gomez.  Age 46 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of the Lady's Altar Society of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux, Louisiana, on Friday, April 22, 1966 at 9:30 o'clock a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 o'clock at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, Thibodaux, Louisiana.  Interment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Thibodaux, Louisiana.  Visitation Thursday, April 21, 1966, 4 p. m. to 11 p.m., Friday, April 22, 1966, 8 a.m. to funeral time.

Norma Marie Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Wednesday, 11 February 2009:  Norma "Noonie" Pitre Clement, 55, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, February 8.  She is survived by her husband, Gene Clement Sr.; son, Dwayne Trosclair and wife Lisa; stepsons, Gene Clement Jr. and wife Liz, Kirk Clement and wife Tracy, and Troy Clement and wife Kyla; stepdaughter, Michele 'MiMi' Barker and husband Tommy; and grandchildren, Abby, Emmi and Kennedy Trosclair, Timmy, Kolt, Kali, Kyle and Erica Clement, Cheyenne Swoope and Thomas Barker IV.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvy Pitre and Esther 'Marie' Doucet Pitre.  She was a member of Cleophas and queen in 1975.  She loved Mardi Gras and her grandchildren.  Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with mass to follow.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
