Lawrence Peters:  The Post Intelligencer (Seattle, WA), Thursday, 10 March 1904:  Peters - At Tacoma, Wash., March 8, 1904, Lawrence Peters, aged 45 years.  Remains at the Bonney-Watson Co.  Funeral from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, this (Thursday) morning at 9 o'clock.  Friends invited to attend. Interment at Calvary cemetery.

 

Sophie Pitre:  Kitsap Sun (Bremerton, WA), Tuesday, 25 July 1944:  Mrs. Sophia Doyle, 81, died this morning after a lengthy illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Coles of Port Orchard.  Born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, May 25, 1863, she has resided here since 1889.  Her husband, Michael, who also was a resident of Port Orchard, preceded her in death 22 years ago.  In addition to her daughter, the deceased is survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Pendleton-Gilchrist funeral home will announce funeral services later.
