Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), September 1995:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Hurley J. Pitre, 81, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, who died Sunday, Sept. 24 (1995).  Visitation will be 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Landry's Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the church Cemetery.  He was the husband of Agnes Clement; father of Janise Molaison; brother of Gladys Rogers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Eva Guidry Pitre; a brother, Irvy Pitre; and a sister, Gertie Mayo.  Landry's Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 2 August 2004:  Agnes Pitre, 90, a native of Thibodaux, died at 8:15 p.m. July 29, 2004.  A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux.  She donated her body to science.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Rodney Molaison, sisters, Mary Ann Arcement and Yvonne Breaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Angelina Duet Clement; brothers, Felix, Wilson, Lionel, Clinton and Raymond Clement; sisters, Lucy Navarre, Odille Pertuit, Clarisse Bourg and Janella Naquin.
