Albert Henry Lepitre:  Misc.:  Portsmouth Herald, Friday, 19 December 1952:  Claremont - A 15-year-old high school junior was in critical condition today with a stab wound in the stomach, inflicted , police said, by another pupil.  Doctors at Claremont General Hospital reported the victim, Albert Lapitre, ran a high fever.  Surgeons, who operated on the youth for two and one-half hours after the stabbing yesterday afternoon, reported his general post-operative condition good, however.  Police Chief William C. Nobbs said the Lapitre boy and another Stevens High School youth as yet unidentified, had a "fight" outside the school just after lunch and Lapitre was stabbed.  The chief said the other student came to the police station immediately after the incident and "made a full report."  He was questioned and then returned home by policemen in the custody of his parents.  Cheif Nobbs said no charges were placed against him pending the final outcome of the Lapitre boy's condition.  A physician said the wound was caused by a knife with a blade apparently about six inches long.  He said the knife severed muscles and pierced the abdominal wall, causing the victim to lose considerable blood.  Albert is the son of Mrs. Alice Lapitre.
