She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Thursday, July 8, 2021, beginning at 9 a.m., until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Toni is survived by her sons, William Stark and wife, Marla, Robert Stark and wife, Stephanie, and Raymond Stark and wife, Lindy; daughters, Rebecca S. Keith and husband, Bruce, Linda S. Stanga and husband, Craig, and Susan S. Walker; brothers, Sterling, Kenneth, and Blake Pitre; sister, Connie Viguerie; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and lifelong dear friends, Rose Roger Robichaux and Leah and Wade Use'. Toni was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Raymond Anthony Stark; parents, Harry Joseph Sr. and Emily Marie Bergeron Pitre; daughters, Barbara Stark and Kathryn S. Weeks; brothers, Robert and Harry Jr. Pitre; and sister, Beverly Cowling. Toni was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Visitation was today from 8 a.m. until funeral time at the Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass was said at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Kent Freeman of Montegut; one daughter, Gypsy Bagwell of Houma; four brothers, Robert, Sterling, Blake and Kenneth Pitre of Houma; two sisters, Ione Stark and Connie Viguerie of Houma; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Emily Bergeron Pitre; and one son, Kirk Freeman. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Robert Joseph Pitre: Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Tuesday, 2 March 2010: Robert "Bobby" Joseph Pitre Sr., 80, a native and resident of Houma, died after complications due to cardiac arrest at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Clark Pitre; one daughter, Cindy P. Boudreaux and husband, Ronnie, of Houma; two sons, Bobby J. Pitre Jr. and wife, Dana, of Thibodaux, and Keith J. Pitre and dear friend, Diane, of Houma; three stepdaughters, Jane T. Cole of Lafayette, Nita Frazier of Clearwater, Fla. and Janita "Deetsie" Thibodeaux of Metairie; one stepson, Joseph Thibodeaux of Houma; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 10 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Ione "Toni" Stark of Houma and Connie Viguerie of Mississippi; three brothers, Sterling Pitre of Chauvin, Kenneth Pitre of Houma, and Blake Pitre of Houma; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hilda Thibodeaux Pitre; his parents, Harry Joseph Pitre Sr. and Emily Bergeron Pitre; three sisters: Beverly, Loyce and Joyce Pitre; and one brother, Harry Pitre, Jr. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was a professional musician, carpenter and an avid golfer. He had a great sense of humor and entertained all with his many jokes.
