Obituary:  Falgout Funeral Homes (LA):  Hilton J. Pitre, September 3, 1929 - December 17, 2024, Raceland:  Hilton “Boy” Pitre, 95, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.  Private services will be later.  Hilton is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Audrey Falgout Pitre; daughters, Susan Gervais, Linda Levron and Patsy Chiasson (Todd). Sons, Chuck Pitre (Charlotte) and Bob Pitre (Sheila).  Sister, Peggy Boudreaux and brother, Ray Pitre.  Grandchildren, Tommy Pitre, Jr., Tory Gervais, Chris Pitre, Tyson Pitre, Nikki Duplantis, Calin Pitre, Ashly Pitre and Halie Chiasson; 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Edla Babin Pitre; brother, Murphy Pitre; sister, Jeanelle Pitre Griffin; son Tommy Pitre, Sr. and sons-in-law, Werly Gervais and Houston Levron.  Hilton was a dedicated oilfield employee for more than 45 years.  He was a past member of the Lafourche and Louisiana Roping Club and the Lafourche Cattleman’s Association.  He enjoyed riding horses in his younger years and duck carving and gardening as he got older.  But, above all he loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.  Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and the nurses with Home Health for their excellent care and compassion.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tommy Pitre:  The Courier (Houma, LA), Sunday, 20 September 2020:  Raceland - Tommy "Meatball" Pitre, Sr., 69, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away with leukemia on Friday, September 18, 2020.  He is survived by his sons, Tommy Pitre, Jr. and Tyson Pitre (Kissy); grandchildren, Jade and Rhea Pitre; great-grandchildren, Aayhlia, Jayden, Faith and Hope; parents, Hilton and Audrey Pitre; brothers, Charles and Robert Pitre and sisters, Susan Gervais, Linda Levron and Patricia Chiasson and his dogs, Remi and Max.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Coty Pitre.  Tommy enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
