Pitre, mother of John, Charles, Edwin, Alfred and Murphy Pitre, Mrs. John Foucheaux, Mrs. O'Neil Thibodaux, Mrs. Henry Malbrough, sister of Mrs. Dilfred Bergeron, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; age 84 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from the Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux, La., on Saturday, October 10, 1964, at 11 o'clock a.m., followed by Requiem High Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation Friday, October 9, 1964 from 3 to 11 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 8 a.m. to funeral time.

Pitre, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died Monday (28 May 1990) at 7:30 p.m.  Visitation is at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday.  He was the brother of Anita P. Thibodaux, and Alfred and Edwin Pitre.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Hebert Pitre; parents, Henry and Marie Usey Pitre; son, Herman Pitre; sisters, Alice Malborough and Elise Faucheaux; and brothers, Charles and Murphy Pitre.  Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre Sr., 77, who died Sunday at 2 p.m.  Visitation is today 5-10 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, Ruby Toups Pitre; parents Henry and Marie Usey Pitre; two sons, Charles N. Pitre Jr., and Henry J. Pitre; one daughter, Marie Pitre Hunter of Littleton, Colo.; four brothers, John, Murphy, Alfred and Edwin Pitre and two sisters, Nita Thibodaux and Alice Mae Malbrough.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Elice Faucheaux.  Arrangements were by Landry's Funeral Home.

 

Edwin Henri Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Monday, 3 February 1997:  Edwin Henri Pitre, age 83 years, on Saturday, February 1, 1997 at 5:17 o'clock P.M.  Beloved husband of Orient Pitre.  Father of Lorette Starkey and Kathryn Maronge.  Survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Son of the late Marie Usey and Henri Pitre.  Brother of the late Anita Thibodaux, Elise Foucha, Alice Malbrough, John, Charles, Alfred and Murphy Pitre.  A resident of New Orleans, LA, for the past 65 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be celebrated from the chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., Harvey, LA, on Monday, February 3, 1997 at 3:00 o'clock P.M.  Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.  Parlors will be open Monday, February 3, 1997 at 12:00 noon.

 

Anita Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA): A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral for Anita Pitre Thibodaux, who died Sunday, Feb. 2, 1997.  Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Thomas, Dale and O'Neil Thibodaux, Mrs. Joseph (Faith) Himel, Mrs. Edward (Veldene) Delatte and Mrs. Willie (Lucille) Duet.  She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, O'Neil P. Pitre (sic Thibodaux); parents, Henry and Marie Use Thibodaux (sic Pitre); five brothers, John, Alfred, Charles, Murphy and Edwin Pitre; and two sisters, Elise Faucheaux and Alice Malbrough.  Landry's Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Murphy Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 17 August 1987:  Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, Thibodaux, for Murphy "Shawee" Pitre, 67, a native of Lafourche Crossing and a resident of Thibodaux, who died at 12:45 p.m. Monday (17th).  Visitation is scheduled for 5-10 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until Funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux-Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.  He was the former husband of Mrs. Hazel Guillot; father of Todd B. Pitre; brother of John, Alfred and Edwin Pitre, Mrs. Harry (Alice Mae) Malbrough and Mrs. O'Neil (Nita) Thibodaux.  He is also survived by one grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marie Use' Pitre; brother, Charlie Pitre; and sister, Mrs. Elsie Faucheaux.  Arrangements by Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux.
