'Ponto' Pitre Sr., 76, native of Thibodaux and resident of Raceland, died Sun., Apr. 25, 1993.  Services at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, burial in church cemetery.  He is survived by wife, Delsay Robichaux Pitre; sons, Alfred Jr., Michael, Gary and Ricky Pitre; stepsons, Mark, Gregory, Ronald and Herbert Robichaux; daughter, Judy P. Blanchard; stepdaughters, Diane Wiltcher, Connie Naquin, Rita Vine and Jo Anne Gallon; brother, Edwin Pitre; sister, Anita Thibodaux; 10 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 step-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by wife, Annette Boudreaux Pitre; parents, Henry and Marie Usea Pitre; brothers, Charley, John and Murphy Pitre; sisters, Alice Mae Malbrough and Elize Foucheaux.

Obituary:  Times Picayune, 24 January 1979:  Annette Boudreaux Pitre, on Tuesday, January 23, 1979, at 5:45 o'clock a.m., wife of Alfred Pitre, mother of Alfred Jr., Michael, Gary and Ricky Pitre, and Judy Blanchard, age 56 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, La., on Wednesday, January 24, 1979, at 9:30 a.m., followed by religious services at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation until funeral time.  Arrangements by Landry Funeral Home.

Obituary:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland for Delsay Matherne Robichaux Pitre, 77, a native of Lockport and resident of Raceland, who died at noon Jan. 4, 2001.  Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today and 8 until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Herbert, Ronald, Gregory and Mark Robichaux, Diane Wiltcher, Connie Naquin, Rita Mae Vignes and Jo Ann Galland; stepmother of Alfred Jr., Gary, Ricky and Michael Pitre and Judy Blanchard; and sister of Raymond and Lloyd Matherne and Doris Marrino.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Robichaux; second husband, Alfred Pitre Sr.; parents, Alfred and Regina Dubois Matherne; one granddaughter; brother, Lee J. Matherne; and sisters, Lilly Bartholomew, Lillian Benedium, Yveonne Murphy, Vivian Dumming and Jennie Lee Gebart.  Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.

Pitre, age 56, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Labadieville, died Oct. 28, 2004.  Visitation Tuesday at Landry Funeral Home in Labadieville; mass of burial celebrated at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, with burial at the church cemetery.  Survived by his sons, Johnny Paul Pitre and Francis Anthony Pitre; brothers, Michael, Gary and Ricky Pitre; sister, Judy P. Blanchard; and four grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred J. Sr. and Annette Boudreaux Pitre.  Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux.
