October 21, 2006: Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Souris Hospital on Saturday, October 21, 2006 of Elmer Joseph Peters of St Charles aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Martina (nee Doiron). Dear father of Joan (Barry) Kneebone, Eric (Darlene), Annette (Danny) Mahar, Sheldon (Kathy), Michelle (Robbie) Blanchard and Wade (Brenda). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Stacey, Adam, Shanna, Danielle, Chad, Mary Ann, Allison, Ryan, Ashley and great-grandchildren; Hannah, Devin and Nathan, by sisters Marie (Bernard) Campbell, Veta (Gerard) MacDonald. Predeceased by his parents George and Emma Jane and brother Leonard. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday morning from 9 am until the time of the funeral. Funeral to be held Wednesday morning from St Charles Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 am. Internment in the church cemetery.
