Obituary: The Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Friday, 12 October 1984: Epping - George K. LaShomb, 56, of 62 Main St. died Thursday at the Exeter Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Massena, N.Y. and had been a resident of Epping for the past 22 years. He was a former welder at Kingston Warren Co. of Newfields and an army veteran of the Korean conflict. Members of the family include his wife, Mrs. Barbara (Snyder) LaShomb of Epping; four daughters, Mrs. Deanna Hamilton and Miss Brenda LaShomb, both of Epping, Mrs. Jean Hubbard of Farmington and Miss Sharon LaShomb of Raymond, four sons, Lawrence LaShomb, Herbert LaShomb, Ricky LaShomb and George LaShomb, all of Epping; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Arlene Olsen of Helena, N.Y., Mrs. Angus Rouselle of Braser Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Wilma Charity of Newmarket. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping. Burial will be in St. (Joseph's) Cemetery, Epping. Barbara J. LaShomb, 73, of Elm St., died October 14, 2007 at her home.
She was born March 5, 1934 in Massena, NY, daughter of the late Henry and
Lena (Snyder) Snyder. Barbara resided in Epping for the past 45 years,
formerly she lived in Exeter, NH and New York areas. Barbara worked
locally for the National Shoe Co. in Epping, and enjoyed gardening, sewing,
cooking, and baking in her spare time. Mrs. LaShomb was a loving mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother for her family and cared specially for her
daughter Brenda, who was born with Down's Syndrome. She was
pre-deceased by her husband, George LaShomb and 1 son, Herbert LaShomb.
Mrs. LaShomb is survived by four daughters, Deanna St. Laurent of
Kingston, NH, Brenda LaShomb of Epping, NH, Jean Lizak of
Newmarket, NH, and Sharon Norton of Raymond, NH, 3 sons, Lawrence
LaShomb of Exeter, NH, Ricky LaShomb and George LaShomb both of
Epping, NH, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and
nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from
2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, NH. Funeral
services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the funeral
home. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping, NH. In

Herbert G. Lashomb: York Weekly (ME), 24 June 2004: Epping - Herbert G. LaShomb, 46, of North River Road, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born Aug. 26, 1957, in Massena, N.Y., the son of the Barbara (Snyder) LaShomb of Epping and late George LaShomb and was a longtime resident of Epping. Mr. LaShomb was formerly employed as a pole setter for many area utility companies for many years. He was a handyman and enjoyed working in his yard and tended to the animals on his farm. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Hope LaShomb of Epping; two sons, Daniel LaShomb and James LaShomb, both of Epping; four sisters, Jean Lizak of Newmarket, Deanna St. Laurent of Gloversville, N.Y., Sharon Norton of Raymond and Brenda LaShomb of Epping; three brothers, Larry LaShomb of Exeter, and Ricky LaShomb and George LaShomb, both of Epping; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Prospect Cemetery, Epping, with the Rev. died Oct. 6, 2008, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born Jan.
22, 1966, in Exeter, to George and Barbara (Snyder) LaShomb. She
was born with Down Syndrome. She resided most of her life in Epping, and
was lovingly cared for by her mother, who died Oct. 14, 2007. In her life:
For the last year, she resided in Raymond and was cared for by her sister,
Deanna, and caretaker, Janice LeBrun, who she affectionately referred
to as "Mom." She enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles, and playing games with
friends Daniel, Zach, and Peter. She was a caring, fun-loving
person who was a joy to be around and will be dearly missed by those who knew
her. She is survived by three brothers, Lawrence LaShomb of Exeter,
Ricky LaShomb of Newmarket, and George LaShomb of Brentwood; three
sisters, Jean Lizak of Newmarket, Deanna St. Laurent of Kingston,
and Sharon Norton of Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. She
was also predeceased by a brother, Herbert LaShomb. Services:
Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery,
