Divorce Proceedings, 29 Dec 1919:  Summation - In a District Court of Flathead, Montana:  Myrtle Peters plaintiff vs. George Peters defendant - Myrtle states they were married in Onaway, MI on 9 July 1912, she has now been resident in Montana for more than a year, and is the innocent and injured party.  For more than two years, George has failed to provide the "common necessities of life, because of his idleness, profligacy and dissipation.  Refusing to work and earn money" for their support "when honorable employment was offered to him, except occasionally and after such times a great part of his earnings were spent at saloons and in dissipation and riotous living."  Because of this, Myrtle has been compelled to earn a greater part of her living by working for others, and often she has provided for them both.  Myrtle states that "she has often entreated defendant to cease his dissipations and vicious associations, offering to help him to make a home for himself and plaintiff for their declining years, but defendant has turned her away with scorn, and that the defendant without cause finally entirely abandoned plaintiff, and plaintiff does not at this time know his whereabouts."  They have no children.  George has failed to appear despite a summons being issued & published, and the sheriff is unable to locate him.  He may now be in Oregon.  Divorce granted 21 Feb 1920.
