Ruby Pitre: Ruby Mary Johnson 84, passed away on February 16, 2007. Ruby was born on September 2, 1922 in Lutcher, LA to George and Lelia (Schexnayder) Pitre one of five children. Ruby grew up in the New Orleans, LA area attending a Catholic High School graduating when she was 15 years old. Ruby married Raymond Johnson on November 30, 1944 in New Orleans, LA and to this union four children were born. Ruby was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her family very much. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Limon, CO. Ruby enjoyed embroidery, cooking, traveling, playing cards and bingo. In her younger years she won several Spelling Bee contests. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers; George, Junius and ElRoy, one sister Elaine Belcher and one granddaughter Melissa Hitchcock. Ruby is survived by her children and their families; Kathleen (Ronald) Thompson and daughter Michelle Thompson, her children; Kaci and Carlee all of Almena, KS, Barbara Jean (Donald) Hitchock of Loveland, CO and son David (Kimberly) Hitchock and children, Avery, Davin and Haven of Greeley, CO, Mary Louise (Kelly) Talamo of Cumming, GA and family, Summer (Guy) Phillips of Alpharetta, GA, Brooke and Jeremiah Paul Talamo of Cummings, GA, one son Stephen (Debbie) Johnson of Warsaw, MO and family Mindy Rae Johnson of Bolivar MO, Kyla Paulette Johnson and Tiffany Ann Johnson all of Warsaw, MO.
