Obituary: St. Mary and Franklin Banner Tribune (Franklin, LA), Friday, 23 May 1986: George Enoe Pitre, 77, died Thursday, at 5:15 p.m., at Iberia General Hospital. Visitations will be on Friday, at 1 p.m., at David's Funeral Home, with funeral services held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville and burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Yolande Judice; one son, Arlen, of Loreauville; and one daughter, Carolyn Hammons, of Shreveport; two brothers, Jules and Raoul; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Lancon, of Baldwin, Mrs. Rita Daigle, of Jeanerette, and Mrs. Edna Nolan, of Welch; and four grandchildren. David's Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.

Obituary: The Daily Iberian (New Iberia, LA), Friday, 22 July 2005: Services for Mrs. George Pitre, the former Yolande Judice, 91, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at David Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville. Visiting hours will be observed today from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday at 8 a.m. until the time of service. A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Pitre died at 8:40 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005, at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn P. Hammons of Haughton; a son, Arlan Pitre and wife Connie of New Iberia; a brother, Andrew Judice and wife Joyce of Port Arthur, Texas; five sisters, Leona J. Landry of St. Martinville, Inez J. Cormier of Lafayette, Euline J. Lancon of Loreauville, Eloise J. Verret of Baldwin and Evelyn J. Lancon and husband Taylor of Jeanerette; four grandchildren, Britt Pitre of New Orleans, Nichelle Pitre of Carencro, Lisa H. Slezak of Minnesota and Jill H. Andrus of Oregan; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie and Jamie Thibodeaux, Joey and Noelle Slezak. Mrs. Pitre was preceded in death by her parents, Dumas and Anaise Dugas Judice; husband, George E. Pitre; a sister, Rita J. Babineaux; two brothers, Alfred "Been" and Louis "Nego" Judice; and a son-in-law, Lonnie Hammons. Pallbearers will be family members. David Funeral Home - North is in charge of the arrangements.
