Obituary: Watertown Times (NY), 29 April 2018: Glenn A. Peets - He was a son of Lawrence and Frances (Fregoe) Peets. He married Helen Bertrand on 10/27/1951 at Sacred Heart Church. She died on 5/4/2015. He operated dairy farms for several years, retired, then worked as a foreman for the Village of Massena Department of Public Works. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Massena Senior Citizens. He was survived by his four sons, Craig A., John M. (Karen), Randy L., and William G.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Vern Peets. He was predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Ira, Gary, Paul, Dale, Sally Gough, and Janet Booth.

Peets, 84, of North Racquette River Road, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Massena Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Friends and family may be received on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in Massena with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery. Helen was born in Massena the daughter of Noah and Dora (Douth) Bertrand. She was a 1947 graduate of Massena High School. On October 27, 1951 she married Glenn Peets at Church of the Sacred Heart with Rev. Michael Jarecki presiding. Helen was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Massena Senior Citizens; she was one of many women involved in the French Club in Massena. Helen enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her husband Glenn, four sons, Craig A. of Liverpool, NY; John M. and Karen of Bedford, IN; Randy L. of Massena; and William G. of Massena, four grandchildren; Heather, Scott, Danielle, and Jonathan, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Rolland and John Bertrand. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence NYSARC, Canton, NY. Arrangements are under the care of Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.
