Mildred Pitre:  The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN), Thursday, 18 December 2014:  Mildred Pitre Robbins Wade, born July 6, 1918 in Cut Off, LA, died December 15, 2014 at home.  She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Thomas Robbins, Clarence (Peter) Wade and great-granddaughter, Sarah Theobald.  She was an active and founding member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Surviving are daughter, Jane Theobald, Pope, MS, son, Tommy Robbins, Memphis, TN, 4 step-children, James M. Wade III, Martin Wade, Los Angeles, Jo Shaner, Memphis and Margaret Knupp, Texas, 6 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 18, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Park.  In lieu of flowers please send memorials to: Poor Clares.

 

Leonie Eleonor Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Eleanor Pitre LeBlanc, 92, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Nov. 17 at Holy Rosary, followed by a service at 12 p.m. at the church.  Burial will follow at the Holy Rosary cemetery.  She is survived by three daughters, Bobbie Sue Dantin, Frances Waguespack and husband, Michael, and Anna Eymard and husband, Patrick; two sisters, Doris Thibodeaux and Mildred Wade; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Francis Joseph LeBlanc; her parents, Felix and Julienne Pitre; her daughter, Evelyn "Lovey' Bourgeois; her brothers Eroche Pitre, Abraham Pitre and Linwood Pitre; and three sisters, Norma David, Delores Pitre, and Eureka Theriot.  Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Doris Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Doris Pitre Thibodaux, 87, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.  A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Larose.  She is survived by her sons, Wayne Thibodaux and wife, Janet, their children, Angel Dubois and husband, Chad, their children, Alex and Kyle Dubois, Kelly Chauvin and husband, Joseph, their daughter, Faith Chauvin, and Blake Thibodaux and wife, Syvanna; Carl Thibodaux and wife, Mary, and their son Jacob Thibodaux, daughter, Jacqueline Thibodaux Guidry and husband, John Allen, and their children, Jamie Schouest and husband, Corey, their children, Olivia, John Michael and Elizabeth Schouest, and Jarrett Guidry and wife, Linsay, and their children, Grace and Colin Guidry; and sister, Mildred Wade, of Memphis, Tenn.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambroise "Brod" Thibodaux; parents, Felix and Julienne Pitre; brothers, Eroche, Linwood, Leonce and Abraham Pitre; and sisters, Eureka Theriot, Norma David, Eleanor Leblanc and Delores Pitre.  Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.

 

Dolores Theresa Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 6 June 2007:  Dolores Theresa Pitre, 76, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 8 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007.  Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to funeral time today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.  Mass will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  She is survived by four sisters, Norma P. David, Mildred P. Wade, Eleanor P. LeBlanc and Doris P. Thibodaux; and numerous relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Julienne Pitre; four brothers, Eroche, Linwood, Leonce and Abraham Pitre; and one sister, Eureka Theriot.  She worked at Stone Motors for many years and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
