Obituaries for the children:

Patrick Peter Pitre:  The Lewiston Daily Sun (Lewiston, ME), Monday, 17 October 1949:  Patrick P. Peters.  Rumford - Patrick Peter Peters, 85, died at the Rumford Community Hospital Saturday morning after an illness of three days.  He had lived in Rumford the last few years.  Mr. Peters was born in St. Louis, Quebec, P.Q., Can., Mar. 17, 1864, the son of Felix and Cecile Doucette Peters.  Surviving are his widow, the former Mary Peters; two sons, Philip and Cyril of Boothbay Harbor; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Brewer of Boothbay Harbor, Mrs. Emile Blier and Mrs. Theresa Patenaude of Lewiston, and Mrs. Frank Buotte of Rumford; 37 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
