Obituary: The Duluth News Tribune (Duluth, MN), Tuesday, 30 September 1986: Frederick Peters, 69, Cloquet, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 1986, in his home. He was born in Cloquet where he attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. He served with the Army's 125th Infantry Division in Europe during World War II. He had worked at Kortie Hardware in Cloquet for several years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Hebert-Kennedy Post 3979 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Carl Anderson Post 262 of the American Legion. His wife, Olga, died in 1981. Surviving are a brother, Walter of Proctor, and four sisters, Margaret Shea and Stella Ervin of Spokane, Wash., Lucille Ervin of Cornelious, Ore., and Alice Morgrette of Sturgeon Lake. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Barr Brothers' Funeral Home, Cloquet, with flag presentation by the Cloquet VFW and Legion posts. Cremation will occur at Northern Minnesota Cremation Service, Virginia.

Obituary: The Duluth News Tribune (Duluth, MN), Monday, 9 March 1981: Olga (Fredrick) Peters, 66, formerly of Two Harbors, died Saturday in a Cloquet nursing home. Surviving, besides her husband, are a sister, Agnes (Maynard) Erickson; two brothers, George and Roy Carlson, all of Two Harbors. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Svendsen-Johnson Funeral Home, Two Harbors.
