Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Thursday, 25 March 1982:  Mrs. Leah P. Pitre, 61, a native and resident of Houma, died 11:50 p.m. Wednesday (24th).  She was a supervisor in Central Supply for Terrebonne General Hospital.  Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. today at the Chauvin Funeral Home.  The funeral is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in the Holy Rosary cemetery.  Survivors include two sons, Flandis P. Pitre, of New Orleans and Jerome Pitre, of Houma; four daughters, Mrs. Noel (Suzzannie) Smith, of Fort Sheridan, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Bourg, of Houma, Mrs. Kim (Brenda) Smith, of Houma, and Mrs. Dwayne (Mylisse) Chauvin of Houma; one brother, Evans Pitre, of Houma; three sisters, Mrs. Eddie (Vernice) Babin, of Houma, Mrs. Clyde (Ismay) Duplantis, of Houma and Mrs. Bernard (Pearl) LeBoeuf, of Houma, and ten grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Flandis J. Pitre; her parents, Auhustin Pitre and Clara Thibodaux Pitre; three brothers, Harris, Eustice and Virgust Pitre; and one sister, Mrs. Louis (Vivian) Bourgeois.  Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
