Obituary:  The State (Columbia, SC), Thursday, 19 October 1989:  Retired Air Force Col. Frederick Irving Peters, 82, of 22 Savage Road died Monday.  Born in Boston, he was a son of the late John A. and Annabelle MaCauley Peters.  He was a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, attended Columbia University and Northeastern University, and was a World War II and Korean conflict veteran.  He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John.  Surviving is a son, Irving W. D. Peters of Charleston.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with burial in Live Oak Cemetery of Walterboro.  The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Fred Parker Funeral Home of Walterboro.

Obituary:  The Columbia Record (Columbia, SC), Monday, 5 March 1956:  Walterboro - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Wichman Peters will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Father Roy F. Aiken officiating.  Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery.  It has been announced that friends may call Monday at the Fred Parker Funeral Home.  Mrs. Peters, 38, died Friday at Denver, Col., after a brief illness.  A native of Walterboro and daughter of Albert H. and Jennie McTeer Wichman, she was a graduate of Coker College and a member of the Catholic Church.  She was the wife of Col. Frederick I. Peters.  Survivors include her husband, her parents; two young sons, Irving Wickman Peters and Andrew McCauley Peters, and her sister, Mrs. James Garrison of Greenville.

Andrew MacAulay Peters:  The Press and Standard (Walterboro, SC), Thursday, 8 February 1968:  Andrew McCauley Peters, 14 year old son of Col. F. I. Peters and the late Margaret Wichman Peters, died Tuesday at his home in Carlisle, Mass.  He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Wichman.  Andrew was born at Presque Isle, Maine, in 1954 and has resided at Carlisle for the past six months.  He was a freshman at Concord-Carlisle Regional High School.  On Friday a High Mass of Requiem will be held from the base chapel at Hanscon Field, Bedford, Mass.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Arlington, Mass.  Surviving besides the father and maternal grandparents, is a brother, Irving W. D. Peters of Carlisle.
