MISC:  The Bay City Tribune (Bay City, MI), Tuesday, 22 December 1903:  About 5:10 yesterday morning fire was discovered in F. C. Peters, jr.'s barn in the rear of his residence on East Fisher avenue.  Mr. Peters was on his way to the barn to feed his horses, looked up and beheld smoke and flames issuing from the hay loft.  He telephoned an alarm and the fire was soon under control.  Two of Mr. Peters' six horses were dead, evidently having been overcome by smoke.  Two others were in very bad shape, and are under a doctor's care.  The contents of the barn were not badly damaged, but Mr. Peters' total loss will reach a thousand dollars, mostly covered by insurance.

- The Bay City Tribune (Bay City, MI), Wednesday, 10 October 1906:  Cost him $5 - F. C. Peters, jr., was in police court yesterday for driving over a sidewalk with a big three-horse van.  Justice Kelley made good on a warning given some time ago and assessed Mr. Peters $5, which he paid promptly.
