Obituary: Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), September 1991: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Felix A. Pitre, 73, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off who died at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday (17th). Interment will be in the church cemetery. He was the husband of Olivia Adams Pitre; father of Errol Pitre and Loretta Curole; brother of Maximillion Jr. and Harrie Pitre, Laura Hill, Edna Danos, Elizabeth Callais and Blanche Hebert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maxmillion Pitre; a brother, Ignace Pitre; and a sister, Victoria Cheramie. In lieu of flowers, donations to favorite charity are preferred. Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

92, a resident of Cut Off, died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Cut Off. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church,
with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Errol
Pitre; one daughter, Loretta Curole; one brother, Nolan Adams;
four sisters, Sisker Duet, Flavia Vegas, Gloria Vegas and Dolores Chiquet;
13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Pitre; her parents,
Jules and Mercedes G. Adams; one sister, Florita Parra; and one
grandchild. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
