Obituary: The Kingston Whig Standard (Kingston, ONT), Thursday, 21 March 1946: Francois A, LaShomb, Grindstone Island farmer, who had been ill for some time committed suicide by cutting his throat with a knife.
Misc.: Watertown Daily Times, Tuesday, 3 October 1922: Council business - Damages to the extent of $200 are claimed by A.V. Lashomb of 877 Mill street in behalf of the son, Francis Lashomb, who was injured while swinging at the Lansing street playground on July 15, 1922. The boy's knees and legs were lacerated, it is said, and the swing is alleged to have been in an unsafe condition.
