Obituary:  Houston Chronicle (TX), Thursday, 13 October 2005:  Beulah 'Gay' Petrie, and Theodore 'Ted' Petrie, passed away on October 6, 2005 and September 21, 2005.  Beulah was a homemaker and Ted was a retired civil servant for the department of the army and a first sergeant in the National Guard.  She was preceded in death by her son Jack Dye and her brother Ray Hall.  He was preceded in death by his brother Bob Petrie.  Beulah is survived by her brothers Shirl and Hubert Hall, son Bill Dye and his wife Carol, daughter-in-law Jean Bell, granddaughters Gaylynne Pardon, Mary Dye, and Cathy Dye; grandsons Jackie Dye, John Dye and domestic partner Dan Lindquist and various great-grandchildren including Michael and Ashlee Greak.  Ted is survived by his daughter Paula Jones and grandchildren Alex, Andrew, and Allison Cheshire and various nephews and nieces including James Petrie.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13 from four o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening with a funeral service at 6 o'clock at the Bradshaw-Carter home, Houston, Texas.  Friends are cordially invited to a graveside service with full military honors on Friday at two o'clock in the afternoon at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
