Obituary: Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB): Regina Pitre Harquail - 1924 - 2014: Bathurst - Mrs. Regina Pitre Harquail, 90, wife of the late Edmond Pitre and the late Theodore Harquail, of Résidence D.M. Boudreau, Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday July 23, 2014, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorina (Vienneau) Frenette and step-mother, late Marie Rose Roy. She is survived by one son, Raymond Pitre (Kathy) of Bathurst. Six daughters: Dorina Pitre, Patricia O'Connell (late Kevin), Therese Black (Terrence), Simonne Pitre (Gerard), Maria Pitre (Norman) and Louise Crawford (James) all of Bathurst. She was the beloved grandmother to 24 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 34 great-grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and her extended family with her second husband. Five sisters: Carmel Boudreau (Lionel), Blanche Thériault (late Albert), Cécile Doucet (Roger) all of Robertville, Anita White (late Douglas) of St-Hyacinthe, Que., and Sister Patricia Frenette of Joliette, Que. Two brothers: Louis Frenette (Jeannine) and Léo Frenette both of Robertville. She was predeceased by four brothers: Victor, Omer, Majella and Patrick. Regina loved to garden until she was no longer able to and was an avid Titan Hockey fan. She always loved to receive visitors, especially from grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a great joy for life. She will be sadly missed. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning July 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Regina may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
