Obituary: Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Friday, 27 February 1981: Eunice - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church here for Edgar P. Pitre Jr., 72, a resident of Eunice who died at 6 p.m. Thursday in an automobile accident. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Eunice. Survivors include his wife, the former Audrey DeRouen of Eunice; one daughter, Mrs. Carol (Dale) Dupre of Eunice; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Best Sr. and Abbie Pitre, both of Eunice.

Obituary: Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Sunday, 17 March 2002: Eunice - Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Derouen Pitre, 91, were held 1 p.m., Friday, in the Quirk & Son Funeral Home chapel here, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Brother Randy Estes conducted the services. Quirk and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
