Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Sunday, 20 March 1966:  Of Harvey, La., on Saturday, March 19, 1966, at 3:55 o'clock p.m., Edward J. Pitre, beloved husband of Josie Trombatore; son of the late Louise Pitre Theriot and Eddy Pitre; stepson of the late Paul Theriot; brother of Mrs. Agnes Giroir, Obin and Ernest Pitre and the late Wallace Pitre, age 54 years, a native of Harvey, La.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Johns Manville Products Corp., are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La., on Monday, March 21, 1966, at 9 o'clock a.m.  Requiem Mass at Infant Jesus Chapel.  Interment in Hook & Ladder Cemetery.  Parlors will be open on Sunday, March 20, 1066, at 2 o'clock p.m.
