Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Emma Marie Pitre, 98, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 8:34 a.m., Monday, Nov. 22, 2010.  Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  She is survived by two sons, Eroch Pitre and wife, Cathy, and Errol Pitre and Audrey; one daughter, Judy Breaux and husband, Louie; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eroche Pitre; her parents, Joe and Blanche Leblanc; one son, Jordy Pitre; three brothers, Edmond, Ernest and John Pitre; and three sisters, Edna, Sister Regina and Viola.  She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eroch Gregory Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Dr. Eroch Gregory Pitre, a native of Cut Off, resident of New Orleans in Lakeview until Hurricane Katrina and a current resident of Old Jefferson, died Sunday, March 4, 2012.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 15300 W. Main Street in Cut Off, 985-632-3858.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with interment in the church cemetery.  He was the beloved husband of Cathy Pepper; brother of Errol Pitre and wife, Audrey and Judy Breaux and husband, Louie; and uncle of eight nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Eroche and Emma Pitre; his brother, Jordy Pitre; and great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  Garden of Memories Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre of Cutoff, La., died in the service of his country in Vietnam, on Sunday, May 18, 1969, beloved husband of Mrs. Ida M. Boudreaux Pitre, son of Eroche Pitre and Emma LeBlanc of Cutoff, La.; brother of Eroche and Judy Pitre of Cutoff, La. and Errol Pitre of Galliano, La.; son-in-law of Norman Boudreaux and Delores Orgeron of Golden Meadow, La; brother-in-law of Billy Boudreaux of Golden Meadow, La. and Audrey Duet of Galliano, La.; uncle of Chad Pitre, grandson of Mrs. Felix Pitre of Cutoff, La. and the late Felix Pitre and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E.
