Obituary: The Terrebonne Press (Houma, LA), Tuesday, 3 December 1963: Ephie Joseph Pitre, 53, died Nov. 28 at 2:50 p.m. in a New Orleans hospital. Pitre resided at 227 St. Michael Street. Services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday from Chauvin's Funeral Home to Holy Rosary Catholic Church with interment in St. Louis cemetery in Bayou Blue. Pitre is survived by his widow, the former Beatrice LeBouef; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Neil of Houma; one son, Leslie of Houma; five brothers, Elie, Irvin, Harry, and Aubrey, all of Houma; and Curtis of New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Aubin Malbrough of Houma, Mrs. Albert Babin of Gretna, and Mrs. Edward Trosclair of Jefferson parish.

Obituary: The Courier (Houma, LA), Sunday, 1 November 1981: Beatrice M. DuBois, 59, a native and resident of Houma, died 9:05 a.m. Saturday in Houma. Visitation at Falgout Funeral Home will begin Sunday, November 1, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., resuming at 8 a.m. Monday until funeral time. A rosary is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday night. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Falgout Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the St. Louis Cemetery in Bayou Blue. She is preceded in death by her father, Jean Pierre LeBoeuf. Survivors include her husband, John C. DuBois; her mother, Mrs. Betsy Hebert; one son, Leslie James Pitre, of Houma; two stepsons, Chuck DuBois, of Forsythe, Montana and Jerry DuBois of Denver, Colorado; one daughter, Mrs. Luby Evelyn) Pinel, of Houma; two stepdaughters, Gail DuBois, of Baton Rouge and Jean DuBois, of Houma; one sister, Mrs. Norris (Darrol) Malbrough, of Bayou Blue. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren. Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is handling the arrangements.

Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church with interment following in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Luby Peter Pinell Sr.; a son, Willis E. "Billy" Dardar Jr. of Houma; a step-son, Luby P. Pinell Jr. of San Diego; two daughters, Tammy Lynn Neil Breaux of Gray and Melissa Teresa Dardar Metzger of Los Angeles; three stepdaughters, Randa Pinell Smith of Montegut, and Traci Blanchard and Trina Portier of Houma; a brother, Leslie James Pitre of Houma; a grandchild and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ephie Joseph and Beatrice Marie LeBoeuf Pitre; and a brother, Daniel Pitre. She was a homemaker.
