Obituary: Bryan Times (Bryan, OH), Wednesday, 27 April 1983: Montpelier - Edward A. Peters, 79, 649 Birchwood Drive, Montpelier, died Tuesday morning, April 26, 1983, at Williams County General Hospital. Mr. Peters was a retired automobile mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Iva; a son, Edward of Aloha, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. Walter (Cecilia) Theut of Sanford, Mich. Calling hours are scheduled for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier. Services and burial are to take place in Springfield, Ore. Preferred memorials are to an institution of the donor's choice.

Obituary: The Register-Guard (Eugene, OR), Monday, 27 May 1968: Peters - Mildred A. Peters, Route 1, Cottage Grove, died Sunday, May 26, 1968 at the age of 67. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, April 19, 1901, and was married in Detroit, December 21, 1921, to Edward A. Peters, who survives her. She came to Cottage Grove from California 13 years ago, and was a member of the Blue Star Mothers. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Edward L. Peters, Redondo Beach, California, Beverly Jossart, Springfield. Three grandchildren and two sisters, Grace Carmen and Ruth Norton, both in Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Mills Mortuary in Cottage Grove, Tuesday, May 28th, at 1:30 p.m. Private interment at Springfield Memorial Cemetery.

A resident of this vicinity for the past 17 years, she was born October 5, 1931, at Hillsdale, Michigan, and was married to Darryl A. Jossart May 10, 1951, at Oxnard, California. Surviving besides her husband, Daryl of Springfield, are one son and three daughters; Daryl E. Jossart of Springfield, Susette A. Jossart and Georgette D. Jossart, both of Roseville, California, Laurie A. Jossart at home; her father, Edward Peters of Springfield; one brother, Edward L. Peters of Beaverton, Oregon. Funeral services will be held at the Burns-Fredericksen Funeral Home, Springfield, Monday, September 25, 1972, at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Carl Mason officiating. Cremation will follow at Rest Haven Crematorium. The family requests that the casket remain closed.
Edward Lee Peters: The Oregonian (Portland, OR), Friday, 3 May 2002: A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Pegg, Paxson & Springer Chapel for Edward L. Peters, who died May 1 at age 65. Mr. Peters was born Feb. 18, 1937, in Hillsdale, Mich. He served in the Army and moved in 1968 to Portland, where he was a cable splicer for Pacific Northwest Bell. In 1962, he married Bonnie Iles. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Diane Yoder, Cathy Hill and Randi Dale; and seven grandchildren. Remembrances to American Cancer Society.
