Obituary: L'Impartial (PEI), Tuesday, 28 March 1911: Died, at Palmer Road, 15 March, after an illness of only three days, Mrs. Adrus Pitre, nee Marie Gallant, daughter of the late Sylvain Gallant of l'Etang des Clous, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 9 days. She leaves to mourn a spouse and seven children: two sons and five daughters: The sons are Joseph of Portland, Oregon, Sylvain under the paternal roof; the daughters are: Josephine, Mme. Proole, Portland, Oregon, Marie Leocadie, Mme. Joseph Doucet, Leocadie, Mme Jerome Doucet, Agnes Mme. S. Fecteau, Westbrook, Me., Marie-Anne, Mme. Joachim Arsenault. Her funeral took place at Palmer Road church on Sunday morning, amid a big group of relatives and friends. The bearers were: Irene Perry, Capt. Frank Gallant, Philias Doucet, Jean Poirier, Fidele Bernard and Jean Doucet. She belonged to the societies of Sacre Coeur, Rosaire Perpetue a de la Ste. Famile. May her soul rest in peace.

Joseph Etienne Peters: The Daily Astorian (Astoria, OR), Friday, 18 October 1963: Joseph Steven Peters, 84, resident of Gearhart, died in the Seaside hospital Wednesday evening. He had been a patient there for the past 13 days. Peters was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, December 8, 1878. He received his education there. In 1904 he came to New Hampshire and resided there for a short time. He then moved to Clackamas where he farmed until 1942 when he retired. In 1950 he moved to Gearhart, and for a short time worked for the Sea Horse Ranch in Seaside. In 1943 he was married to Eleanor E. Stanton in Coquille, Ore. She survives him and resides at the family home in Gearhart. Also surviving is a son Joseph K. Peters, West Linn, Ore. Information regarding services, which will be Monday at 1 p.m., is being announced by the Hughes-Ransom Seaside mortuary.
Mary Leocadie Peters: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Tuesday, 19 May 1959: St. Louis - Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Jerome Doucette whose death occurred at her home after a lingering illness in her 80th year. Her funeral took place from her home to the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. Burial in the family plot.

Catherine Agnes Pitre: Portland Press Herald (Portland, ME), Wednesday, 11 April 1962: Westbrook - Mrs. Agnes Fecteau, 80, of 36 Saco St., died Tuesday at her home after a long illness. Her husband, Arsine, died in 1938. Mrs. Fecteau was born in Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Feb. 9, 1882, daughter of Andrew and Mary Gallant Peters. She came to Westbrook 60 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church, member of Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and St. Rita's Circle, D. of I. Surviving are five sons, Maurice, Leo, Andrew and Emile, all of Westbrook; and Phillippe Fecteau, Portland; five daughters, Miss Maria Fecteau, Mrs. Lena Bernier, Mrs. Rita Mockler, Mrs. Rose Letarte and Mrs. Eva Poirier, all of Westbrook, a brother, Joseph Peters, Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Friday from 35 Church St., followed by a Solemn High Mass of Requiem at 9 in St. Hyacinth Church. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery.

Marie Angele Pitre: Evening Express (Portland, ME), Saturday, 11 July 1953: Westbrook - Mrs. Marie Peters Arsenault, 393 Main Street, widow of Joshua Arsenault, died yesterday in a South Portland nursing home at the age of 63 after a long illness. She was born May 31, 1890, at Prince Edward Island, daughter of Andrew and Mary Gallant Peters and had been a resident of Westbrook for 38 years. Her husband died in 1950. Surviving are two sons, Joseph and Henry Arsenault, Westbrook; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Beaudet, Westbrook; two brothers, Joseph Peters, Portland, Ore., and Sylvain Peters, Prince Edward Island; three sisters, Mrs. Josie Kimball, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Cadie Doucette, Prince Edward Island and Mrs. Agnes Fecteau, Westbrook; one granddaughter; six grandsons; two great-grandsons and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be from 8 Pleasant Street at 8:15 a.m. Monday. A Solemn High Mass of Requiem will be sung in St. Hyacinthe Church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Hyacinthe Cemetery.
