Obituaries for the children:

Rita Marie Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), Monday, 22 August 1983:  Rita Pitre Hebert, 60, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:05 pm Saturday.  Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 pm today and from 8 am to funeral time Tuesday.  The funeral will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday from Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Francis No. 1 Cemetery.  Survivors include her husband, Gustave; her mother; Julia Dumond Pitre; one son, Wayne Anthony Hebert; one daughter, Mrs Roy (Kathleen) Naquin; one brother, Lubie Hebert and five grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Joseph Pitre. Chauvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

 

Louby J. Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Louby J. Pitre, 82, a native and a resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.  No services are scheduled at this time.  He is survived by his son, Dennis P. Pitre and wife, Sherrel; two daughters, Patricia P. Hebert and husband, Charles T. Hebert, and Lisa P. Cano; four grandchildren, Carlos Cano and wife, Crystal, Corey Pitre, Brandon Pitre and Jhansi Castille; one great-grandson, Brayan P. Pitre; and extended family, Donna Rainey.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Brunet Pitre; parents, Clarence and Julie Dumont Pitre; son, Clarence Pitre; granddaughter, Melissa Cano; and sister, Rita Hebert.  Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
