Obituary:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Saturday, 19 December 1987:  Bathurst - Clifford Pitre, 63, of 255 Hillside Ave., Bathurst died Friday at Chaleur Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Born in Bathurst, he was a son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Doucet) Pitre.  He was a maintenance employee at Bathurst Community College before retiring in 1984 due to ill health.  He is survived by his wife, the former Emilia Christie; three sons, Albert, Philippe and Francois, all of Bathurst; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Duguay (Jacinthe) of Bathurst; two brothers, Andre of North Tetagouche and Benoit of Dalhousie; a sister, Mrs. Fred Caissie (Bernadette) of Bathurst.  The body is at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.  Funeral mass will be celebrated Sunday at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Bathurst at 4 p.m.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.

Obituary:  Clifford Pitre (Mrs.) of Bathurst died 22 Oct 2001, widowed in 1987, born Emelia Christie (Gilbert Christie and Cecilia Hachey) of Bathurst.  Three sons: Albert of Bathurst, Philippe (Jocelyne Boucher) of Middle River and Francois (Isabelle Lanteigne) of Caraquet; a daughter Jacinta of Middle River; two brothers, William (Bertha) and Daniel (Gertrude), both of Bathurst; two sisters Alice (Gilles LeClair) of Ontario and Stella (Jean-Eudes LeClair) of Nigadoo.  Died two brothers John and Delphis.  Ste-Famille funeral.

Philippe Pitre:  Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB):  (photo) 1954 - 2015:  Middle River, NB - Philippe Pitre, 60, of Middle River, passed away suddenly on Thursday February 18, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Clifford and Emilia (Christie) Pitre.  Philippe was retired Civil Servant for the Federal Government.  Besides his wife, Jocelyne Boucher, he is survived by two brothers: Albert Pitre of Bathurst and Francois Pitre (Isabelle Lanteigne) of Caraquet.  One sister, Jacinthe "Jackie" Pitre of Middle River.  One niece, Andree.  Several uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  The family will receive relatives and friends after 7 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from noon until time of Funeral.  Donations in memory of Philippe may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
