Obituary:  The Times Herald (Port Huron, MI), Tuesday, 14 May 2002:  Bernard J. Peters: Algonac - Bernard J. 'Bud' Peters, 87, a resident of Algonac for 16 years and a previous resident of Fair Haven, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, in St. John River District Hospital, East China Township.  He was born May 22, 1914, in Detroit.  He married Laura Peters (nee Riddell) on Feb. 17, 1968, in Warren.  He retired in 1969 as a repairman for Inter City TV Repair.  He was a member of Amvets and Fair Haven Eagles.  He is survived by his wife, Laura 'Jean' Peters of Algonac; children, Loretta Dasovich of Algonac, Patricia (John) Mattice of Mio, Rocky (Patti) Golden of Fair Haven, and Michael (Cheri) Golden of Sterling Heights; siblings, Alma Merrilli of Clinton Township, June Hoffman of Joliet, Tenn., and Donald (Dollie) Peters of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Peters.  Prayers will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Gendernalik Funeral Home Inc., New Baltimore.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Anchorville.  The Rev. David Burgard will officiate.  Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.  A rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Obituary:  The Times Herald (MI), Wednesday, 21 July 1965:  Anchorville - Mrs. Eileen F. Peters, 50, of 10081 Dixie Highway, died Tuesday in Mt. Clemens General Hospital after a short illness.  Mrs. Peters was born Feb. 14, 1915, in Morpeth, Ont.  Her husband, Bernard 'Bud' Peters, is owner of Inter-City Radio and Television Lab, Fair Haven.  They moved from Detroit to Anchorville 18 years ago.  Mrs. Peters is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Trudgen, Blenheim, Ont., seven sisters, Mrs. Rita Shagena, Richmond, Mrs. Marjorie Tughen, Marine City, Mrs. Marie Dossin, Marysville, Mrs. Jean Stover and Mrs. Margaret Miller, both of Windsor, Ont., Mrs. Mary Guyett, Detroit, and Mrs. Ruth Phair, Blenheim; and a brother, Glen Trudgen, Blenheim.  Funeral services will be conducted at 9:15 a.m. Friday in Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore, and at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Anchorville.  Rev. Harry A. Paul, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The remains are in the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Obituary:  The Times Herald (Port Huron, MI), Monday, 2 January 2006:  Laura J. Peters: Algonac - Laura Jean Peters, age 85, of Algonac, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 in the Village of East Harbor, Chesterfield.  She was born May 13, 1920 in Port Huron.  She married Bernard 'Bud' Peters on Feb. 17, 1968 in Warren.  He died May 12, 2002.  Laura enjoyed doing crafts and playing bingo.  She is survived by her daughters, Loretta (George) Ward of Marine City and Patricia (John) Mattice of Mio; her son, Rocky (Patti) Golden of Fair Haven; her daughter-in-law, Cheri Golden of Sterling Heights; ten grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud and son, Michael.  Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2006 in Immaculate Conception Church, Anchorville.  Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore and 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
