Peters, Sudbury; 5 grandchildren.  Funeral service in the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. East at Devonshire Road, Thursday, July 5, 1962 at 11 a.m.  Rev. W.M. Reeves officiating.  Interment Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.

The Windsor Star (ONT), Tuesday, 3 July 1962:  Adolphe Walter Peters, 73, of 3944 Alice St., died Sunday in Grace Hospital after a brief illness.  Mr. Peters was born in Highland Grove, Ont., and lived in Windsor for 43 years.  He was building construction foreman until 1957 when he retired.  He was a member of the 228 Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force overseas from 1914 to 1918.  Surviving are his widow, Amy Esther; a son, Alan Lewis of Windsor; a brother, George A. Peters of Sudbury; and five grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E., Rev. W.M. Reeves officiating.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
