Marie Bertha Pitre:  The Hamilton Spectator (Hamilton, ONT), Thursday, 4 March 2004:  Breckon, Bertha - Peacefully passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in her 88th year.  Predeceased by her loving husbands Alban Arsenault (1957) and Fred Breckon (1986).  Will live forever in the hearts of her children: Ralph Arsenault, Maureen and the late John Arsenault (2001), Jean and husband Len Richard, Sandy and husband Hank Horbatuk; grandchildren Brian, Sharon, Kevin, Michael, John, Michelle, Ann, Heather, James, Larry and their spouses; great-grandma of 15.  Will also be missed by her extended family Sheila, Sharon and Jason.  Dear sister of Edna and the late Frank Peters, Edmond and Doris Peters, Aldona and the late Ray Noonan.  Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to the staff of St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate care.  Also special thanks to Father Charlie Galea.  Visiting at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Vigil Prayers Thursday at 8:45 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish on Friday, March 5, 2004 at 10 a.m.  Cremation to follow.  In Bertha's memory, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

 

Francis Arcade Pitre:  The Hamilton Spectator (Hamilton, ONT), Tuesday, 8 November 1994:  Peters, Frank, After a short illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital, on November 7, 1994, in his 76th year.  Cherished husband and best friend of Edna.  Beloved son of Rose Peters of P.E.I.  Dear brother of Bertha Breckon, of Hamilton; Edmond Peters and Doris, Aldona Noonan and Ray, of P.E.I.  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  Dear brother-in-law of Pius and Rita Peters, Anita Gallant, Dorothy and David Botts, Thomasena and the late Clarence Peters.  For visitation information contact Cresmount Funeral Home.  Vigil for the Deceased will be held Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Annunciation of Our Lord Church on Thursday at 10 a.m.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery to follow.  Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009 of Edmond Mosey Peters of O’Leary aged 87, beloved husband of Doris (nee Arsenault).  Born on May 24, 1922 in Bloomfield, son of the late Athanase and Rose (Arsenault) Peters.  Dear father of Wayne (Joanne MacDonald), Charlottetown and Norman at home.  Loving grandfather of Michelle (Rob) Bright, Fredericton, NB; Nicole Peters, Charlottetown and great-grandchildren Luke Peters and Abby Bright.  Brother of Aldona Noonan, Alberton and brother-in-law of Edna Peters, Hamilton, ON.  Predeceased by a brother Frank and sister Bertha.  Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm and Saturday until 10am then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for funeral Mass at 10:30am.  Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.  Memorials to the Diabetes Association or St. Anthony’s Cemetery would be appreciated.

 

Aldona Mary Pitre:  Rooney Funeral Home (Alberton, PEI)Aldona Mary Noonan, 1930 - 2021.  The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, with her loving family by her side, of Aldona Mary Noonan, of Alberton, age 90 years.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond G. Noonan.  Born at Howlan, PEI, on August 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Tennis J. and Rose Alma (nee Arsenault) Peters.  Loving mother to Sheila (deceased 1967), Janet Keith (Dale Yeo) of Alberton, June (deceased 2013), Carol Dudnick (James Roussey) of Guelph, ON, and Rayona (Dean) Murphy of Brooklyn.  She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jackie (Noel), Leanne (Mark), Michelle (Mike), Jennifer (Jeff), Terry (Amanda), Rob (Gabriel), Jay (Carla).  Great-grandmother to Nathan, Dawson, Adam, Shaun, Corey, Eric, Kate, Felicia, Taylor and Evan, and great-great-grandmother to Jade.  She is also survived by son-in-law, Robert Terweene (Nancy Williams), of Cascumpec.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Wayne (Joanne) Peters, Norman Peters, Jean (Len) Richards, and Sandy (Hank) Horbatuk.  She was predeceased by siblings, Edmond (Doris) Peters, Frank (Edna) Peters, Bertha (Fred) Arsenault.  Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visitation Sunday, May 30, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral mass on Monday, May 31, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton.  Interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the PEI Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions the visitation and funeral will be for invited guests only.
