Obituary: The Evening News (Detroit, MI), Saturday, 12 June 1897: Peters - June 12, 1897, at his late residence, Centre Line, Mich., Antoine, beloved husband of Margaret Peters, aged 67 years. Funeral Monday at 10 a.m., from St. Clement's church, Centre Line.

Isabella Peters: Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI), Friday, 7 May 1926: Daughter of First French Family Dies - Isabella Peters Ryan, descendant of one of the first French families to settle in Detroit, and widow of the late Michael E. Ryan, contractor, will be buried Friday morning following services at 9 o'clock in SS. Peter and Paul cathedral, John R. and Adelaide streets. Mrs. Ryan, who was born in what was known as North Detroit, a section at present incorporated in the city and lying north of Hamtramck, could trace her lineage to the first Peters who came here in 1715, shortly after Cadillac landed. Mrs. Ryan, who was 67 years old, had been ill six weeks. Her husband whose death occurred five years ago, assisted in the construction of the post office, Hotel Statler and several other of Detroit's downtown buildings. Mrs. Ryan lived at 287 Alfred street. She is survived by a son, Milton, of Chicago, president of the Lapeer Tractor company; three daughters, Mrs. William L. Calnon, Mrs. Jacob Herbert, Mrs. Florence Zengerie and Mrs. Bernadette Hodge.

Francis E. Peters: Detroit Free Press, Friday, 27 January 1933: Death of father follows invalid's: The shock of the death of his invalid son resulted Thursday in a fatal heart attack for Frank E. Peters, 71 years old, in his home at 2026 Hazel St. The son, Mark, 32, died Tuesday. Funeral services for both will be held at St. Leo's Church at 9 a.m. Saturday, following removal of the bodies from the T.P. Sullivan Sons Chapel, 8274 Grand River Ave. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
