Obituary: Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, FL), Thursday, 26 July 1973: Peets - Albert J., 58, of 3730 44th Ave. N., passed away Wednesday July 25, 1973. Born Holyoke, Mass. Came to St. Petersburg from New York City 9 years ago. He was a retired apartment house superintendent. He is survived by his wife Frances, two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Meyerhofer of Inverness, Fla., Miss Alice Peets, of St. Petersburg, three brothers, Arthur, Lucan, and Henry, all of Holyoke, Mass., two sisters, Mrs. Rita Pellerin and Mrs. Helen Labrie, both of Holyoke, Mass., 6 grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m., and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at C. E. Prevatt Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, where recitation of the Rosary will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church of Transfiguration, Saturday 10 a.m. with Father James Waters, celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Compton of Bradenton and Eleanor Meyerhofer of Inverness; seven grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg. Shannon Funeral Home is in charge.
