Obituary: Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB): Bathurst - Mrs. Priscille Pitre, 86, wife of the late Michel Pitre, of Queen St., Bathurst and formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away Friday (September 9, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Gauthier) Gauthier. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Michel Pitre in 1975. She is survived by: One son: André Pitre (Angie) of Bathurst, Two daughters: Cecile Voutour (Walter) of Bathurst, Yvonne Daigle of St. Anne's, Two sisters: Macrina Pitre and Corrine Pitre both of South Tetagouche, One brother: Freddy Gauthier of Beresford, 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two daughters, Beatrice in 1954, Stella in 1999, one grandson, Tony Smith in 2004, two sisters, Mina Pitre in 1976, Melvina Pitre in 1997, two brothers, Ben in 1969 and Edgar in 1999, son-in-law Urban Daigle in 1991. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (September 12, 2005) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdeline Cemetery, South Tetagouche. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2:00 p.m. till time of Funeral.

Yvonne Pitre: Elhatton's Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB): 1940 - 2015 Mrs. Yvonne Daigle, 74, wife of the late Urbain Daigle, of Ste-Anne, Glou. Co., N.B., passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday April 27, 2015. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Michel and Pricille (Gauthier) Pitre. Yvonne is survived by five children: Percy (Nancy Noel), Geraldine Babineau (Robert) and Ronald, all of Bathurst, Denis (Carole Hammond) of South Tetagouche and Pauline Picot (Gerard) of Miramichi. Two grandchildren: Vanessa and Nathan. One brother, Andre Pitre (Angella) of Bathurst. One sister, Cecile Pitre (Walter Vautour) of Moncton. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters: Beatrice and Stella. There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday May 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St. Donations in memory of Yvonne may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
