Misc: The Freeholder (Cornwall, ONT), Friday, 1 November 1895: Angus Lajambe of Cornwall, says the Gazette, caused the Notre Dame ambulance a hurry-up run on Saturday. He wandered into a restaurant on St. Lawrence Main street about dinner time in a high state of excitement and hunger. The latter overcame his prudence, and in his anxiety to fill his stomach he tried to swallow two large wedges of meat. One of them stuck in his throat, and he was unconscious and blue in the face when the ambulance appeared on the scene. A severe shaking and the use of an instrument restored Angus to consciousness and health.
- The Gazette (Montreal, QUE), Wednesday, 4 August 1954: Oyens Lashambe, 84, 6957 St. Hubert street, was admitted to Notre Dame Hospital yesterday morning for treatment of a possible fracture to the right arm and back injuries after he was struck by a car at Belanger and St. Hubert streets.
