Misc:  The Gazette (Montreal, Quebec), Wednesday, 4 August 1954:  Oyens Lashambe, 84, 6957 St. Hubert street, was admitted to Notre Dame Hospital yesterday morning for treatment of a possible fracture to the right arm and back injuries after he was struck by a car at Belanger and St. Hubert streets.

 

Obituaries for the children:

Joseph A. Lajambe:  The Gazette (Montreal, Quebec), Thursday, 24 December 1908:  Drowned while Skating.  Cornwall, Ont., December 23 - The first skating fatality of the season took place yesterday, a couple of miles east of Summerstown, when Joseph Lashambe, aged 13, son of Angus Lashambe, of Cornwall, while visiting relatives in the country, went skating on one of the bays off Lake St. Francis and broke through the thin ice.  There was less than four feet of water at this point.

 

Corine Blanche Lashamb:  The Gazette (Montreal, Quebec), Thursday, 12 October 1978:  Dansereau, Blanche.  At Montreal, October 10, 1978, age eighty years, Blanche Lajambe, beloved wife of the late Charles Emile Dansereau, dear sister of Genevieve Marchand, dear cousin of Mrs. Irene Dion, also survived by nephews and nieces.  Resting at Alfred Dallaire Inc.; service at 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, at St. Brendan's Church.  Thence to Eastend Cemetery.
