Obituary:  Arthur J. Peete, 60, of 5 Bristol Ave., died yesterday (16 April 1970) in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.  He was born here, a son of the late Nelson and Albina (Moisan) Peete.  He was employed as a press man at Ray-O-Vac Corp.  He leaves his widow, Mrs. Rita M. (DiRienzo) Peete; a son, Robert A. Peete of Lancaster; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ann Whitehead and Mrs. Patricias Rathay, both of Clinton, and Mrs. Geneva Andrews of Berlin; two brothers, Raymond Peete of New York, N.Y., and Harvey Peete of Clinton, and six grandchildren.  The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Monday from the Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, with High Mass at 9 in St. John's Church.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Obituary:  Clinton - Mrs. Zaira (Marangoni) Peete, 54, of 5 Bristol Ave., wife of Arthur J. Peete, died yesterday in Clinton Hospital.  She was born in New York City, a daughter of Mrs. Maria (Ballotara) Marangoni and the late Ulysses Marangoni and lived in this town for the past 45 years.  Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Robert of Lancaster; three sisters, Mrs. Gemma Valerio, Mrs. Gloria Merrill and Miss Flora Marangoni, all of Clinton; a brother, Albert Marangoni of California; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be from the Robert J. McNally Funeral Home Thursday morning with a High Mass at 9 in St. John's Church.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Obituary:  Clinton - Rita (DiRienzo) Camerano Peete, 74, formerly of 5 Bristol Ave., died Monday in Chandler, Ariz., where she lived the past year.  Her first husband, Alfred Camerano died in 1961 and her second husband, Arthur Peete, died in 1970.  She leaves three daughters, Ann Whitehead of Lancaster, N.H., Geneva Andrews of Gilbert, Ariz., and Patricia Flynn of Dudley; a brother, James DeRienzo of Clinton; six sisters, Helen DiRienzo, Philomina Vaillette, Teresa Delvecchio, all of Clinton, Sue Rose of Boylston, Milvia Hutchinson of Shrewsbury, and Ann Reardon of Falmouth; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was born in Clinton, daughter of Pasquale and Anna (Lucci) DiRienzo.  While a resident of Clinton, Mrs. Peete was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.  The funeral will be held Saturday morning from Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.  Calling hours at the funeral home are from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Robert Arthur Peete:  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA), Wednesday, 23 October 2019:  Robert A. Peete, 87.  Clinton/Lancaster - Robert A. Peete, 87, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in Sterling Village, Sterling.  He is survived by two sons: Robert A. Peete, and his wife, Teresa, of Lancaster, and Michael J. Peete, and his wife, Suzanne, of Leominster; three grandchildren: Heather M. Peete, Jason R. Peete, and Shawna J. Peete.  He was predeceased by his infant grandson, Joseph Michael Peete, in 1979.  His long-time companion, Marlene M. (Dietel) McKinstry, also predeceased him.  Bob was born and raised in Clinton, son of Arthur J. and Zaria (Marangoni) Peete.  He was a graduate of Clinton High School, and was a proud US Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Seabee with Mobile Construction Unit #8 from 1951-1953.  A talented carpenter, Bob worked in commercial construction for many years, before accepting a position at UMass Medical Center, where he was employed for more than 20 years before retirement.  He enjoyed travelling, and drove to Florida twice each year for 50 years.  A graveside service with Military Honors will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.  McNally & Watson Funeral Home, Clinton, is directing arrangements.
